when? where? who? why?
After some discussion with women about gender violence, we realized that many of them had a lack of information concerning their rights and the differents laws protecting them against violence. It also appears that it is not always easy for them to be heard and to have free discussions about this subject.
That is why we decided to create a project whose main objective is to gather juridical information and help for women who need it.
for whom?
Our plateform will be exclusively for women who are looking for information, help or a group of discussion. Thanks to our app they will be able to access the instruments they need to improve their situation.
what? how?
In our plateform, women will find links of articles, law texts, testimonies and conferences about gender violence and the whole juridical side. They will also be able to contact a professional of these questions if they want to explore a subject more in detail and some lawyer contact if they are in trubble and look for help. Moreover, we want to create a chatbox in which users will ask some questions, organize forums and group debate around a common topic. In other words, they will have a place to share their opinion and experience being supervised at the same time

Different competitors : App-Elles ; HandsAway ; SmartShield ; Garde ton corps ...
Theses differents projects, are apps or associations that are mostly made for women and that are very useful when they need emergency aid or informations about their rights or their safety in the society.
For example App-Elles® is an application that allows you to quickly alert and contact authorities, emergency services, associations and other assistance resources available in your area when you are in danger or need it. Present in more than 13 countries, it also relays local information and national arrangements. This project is quit like ours, because it helps women and offers them services and informations when it comes to gender violences, the main difference between the App-Elles' app and our project it's that we are not offering an emergency service for women in immediate danger. Our purpose is to help women to know their rights and to be aware about gender inequalities and gender violences with different services (chatbox, articles, law texts, testimonies and conferences about gender violence and the whole juridical side). Our project aim to help women in their day to day life and not especially in case of harassment or emergency.
About "Garde ton corps" "Smartshield" and "Hands away", these apps are preventing women from different type of harasssment, they can contact help when they feel in danger thanks to these apps (you can also use these apps to alert or testify..). So these two apps are like our project, designed for women who need help about gender issues, howerver, like "App-elles" theses apps are more used in case of immediate necessity or danger. On the other hand, our project is aim to help women every day and to help them to address every type of issues when it comes to gender inequalities or gender violences...

Even if the story takes lace in 1912, it represents one of the biggest improvement of women juridical rights right before they became able to vote. A group of women who are decided to call to actions linked to justice, that is an inspiration for our project
In the Glory 30s, this movie presents a group of women who fight for evolution and equality. The juridical aspect is very important for these women who are aware of the rights they have and the rights they sould obtain in the future. Justice, law, equality, all aspect which are a huge source of inspiration for our project
when? where? who? why?
Nowadays, the gender issue is at stake. All around the world, some women are still suffering from inequalities and violences as much physical as psychological. This situation is the legacy of centuries in which women have often been considered as the "weak gender". To tackle this image and improve their situation, one option could be a change of mentalities by education.
For this reason we think that we can't wait to make people aware of injustify gender violence, this issue has to be taken into account as soon as posible
for whom?
For this application, we are targeting young people, between theitr entering in school and high school.
what? how?
In our app, we create content through instructive links and pages giving historical information to these young people. We will create many rubrics regarding history, geographical area... It will also be adapted to differents ages in order to adapt our context. We have thouht that it will be interesting to use our app in school programs. Indeed, it could be a revolution in primary schools, a tool for teachers to make children aware of the topic. For high school, it could be integrate to some programs like "Moral and civic Education". Do an interactive app is crucial to be more attractive.

Different competitors: Sheboard; Lulu’s Journey; Girl Rising
These differents projects are apps that are designed inform and educate people about gender inequalities, women empowerment, and other gender issues.
First, Sheboard was created by Plan International to change the narrative around gender. After downloading the app, it uses predictive text to suggest empowering and less sexist language in context to girls and women. So like our project this app is designed to educate people about gender issues by helping them to talk diffferently and to stop using sexist expressions for example. The main difference is that our project is much more general and will inform young people about all type of gender issues and about history by provinding articles, links, videos...
Then, there is Lulu’s Journey. This app works as an educational game to help users learn about menstrual hygiene. One feature works like Candy Crush — but with Diva Cups and pads instead of candies. The common point with ou project is the educational aspect, and the difference is that we are more general in our subjects as well, and we don't have this "game" aspect.
Finally,Girl Rising, This app gamifies their stories and talks about what it takes for a girl to actually go to school. And like the previous one, we do not have developed this "gaming" aspect and our subjects is not limited to school access for girls.
